Okay you can't really tell from this photo but Kendal's big toe is not only red and swollen but it has an ingrown toenail that's infected. What you also can't tell from the picture is the red line that goes up her foot, clearing indicating an infection. Thankfully I took her to the Dr. today who
prescribed antibiotics (side note..he also heard her talking and said that she was talking really well - no surprise for those who know her). Even though she is miserable and will not sleep without me holding her, I hope the
antibiotics will help her heal quickly...she is in such pain.
