Pretty Pretty Princess

Kendal found her princess hat and immediately wanted to get her princess shoes on (the apron had been on for awhile before all this took place).

Kendal and friends at the bounce place which is great until you have to climb up the slide to get them because they're too scared to go down (I wouldn't recommend this when you're 9 months pregnant).

Hang tight...

Our Internet is working on and off and even though the guy came tonight he couldn't fix it. After waiting our 4 hour time slot and no service man I gave up...3 hours later I got a knock on the door and poof service man appears...right on time! Anyway, they are supposed to come fix it tomorrow so stay tuned...

Nails

Kendal decided she wanted her nails painted but she didn't want mommy to do it, "Kendal do it." Knock yourself out Twinks (and she did)...

You are all welcome to come for tea.

Ventana

Over the weekend we were lucky enough to receive two free nights stay (courtesy of Grammie and Grandpa) at Ventana. We had a wonderful time swimming in the pool and just relaxing.
Looking at the fish. I think Kendal is turning into a fish herself b/c she's getting harder and harder to get out of the pool. One minor discrepancy, she won't go under the water b/c she "has her hat on."

Thursday

The nap wasn't working so we opted for swimming instead (she looks a lot happier here too).
Let me see what parts I have here...

Oh yes, that's how it's done (I swear I did not prompt any of this).

Pics

Burying her feet in the dog bowl, it makes for an interesting dinner time.

My little helper (who looks like she has the crazies & a mustache) baking brownies for our neighbors. After about 25 seconds she put her spoon down and grabbed the spatula (I should've had her apron on). I think it's fair to say she likes chocolate.

Uncle Jeff came to visit

Over the weekend Uncle Jeff surprised Grandpa and headed out to Tucson. We had a great time seeing him (but missing Aunt LaLa) and catching up. Uncle Jeff was a big hit with Kendal as he did all those fun crazy things boys do (hang her upside down and run around, etc). She even told me today that she's going to get in Uncle Jeff's truck in Florida and go see the horses...look out Jeff she won't forget it!
Uncle Jeff and Kendal.

Kendal loooves her daddy!

Every girl should have a castle and what princess doesn't like to sit in it?!

Day 2 in TuTu

One day in her tutu wasn't enough so yesterday it went back on (she even wore it to nap in)
Putting her animals to sleep - I wish she would take her own advice

Our ballerina

Today was one of those days where Kendal was feeling the tutu. From the minute she put the tutu on she started posing and of course dancing on her toes. So, on went the tutu and out the door we went...she was a big hit around town.

A little too much twirling

Skylar, Kendal, Madyson & Baylee all had fun swimming in the pool. They even brought me over a birthday cake loaded with 30 candles and sang to me...so sweet!

Rob's Awesomeness!!

Our friends Rob, Melora, Peyton, and Cooper came over for some summer fun on Saturday night. As per usual, an evening with this crew contains large quantities of fun, food, laughter, beer, and recently... danger.

Rob, Michelle was having trouble posting this video because she said it didn't have anything to do with Kendal, which is why the blog exists. I completely disagree... because as you can clearly tell from the video, you are setting an excellent example for all our kids to follow. I can only hope that Kendal grows up to have as much Awesomeness as you. Nice form! Next time we'll do a flip.

Whisked away...

Kendal pulling her suitcase

Fourth of July I get a card at 7:00AM from Brian telling me (and Kendal) to be packed and ready in 1 hour, no questions asked. An hour later, the doorbell rings and Grammie and Grandpa are ready to take Kendal for 4 days. I throw random things in my bag (thankfully Grammie had prepared and wrapped a few goodies for me to take) and we run out the door. It is only later that I find out my wonderful husband is taking us to Hawaii for an early Birthday present and prebaby getaway. ALOHA! We ride first class, rent a convertible and stay at the JW Marriott...I am in heaven. We didn't do much but sit on the beach, drive around the island and sight see and it's exactly what I wanted. It was really nice to spend some time with Brian before #2 arrives but we also really missed Kendal...Thank God for grandparents!!! Thank you to everyone who made this possible...Happy 30th to me!

Looking handsome at the lookout

Headed to dinner (at 9:00PM, haven't done that in awhile - since the last time Grammie and Grandpa watched Kendal).

Sunset from our balcony.

Silly girl

Kendal being silly and enjoying mommy's protein shake. Side note...I can hear her read, "Polar Bear Polar Bear what do you hear" in the car...the repition is so good for her as she can "read" the entire book.
