Michief

While I was busy talking with the pest control guy someone was very busy creating his own mess (it was all over the office, the living room, the bathroom) ...

The culprit. I guess being this busy makes you hungry (ugh hmm the sandwich).

Weekend

If there is a TCU event within 200 miles of us you know we will be attending. On Friday night Phoenix hosted it's first ever (well since we've been here) TCU Alumni watching party. We actually had a great turn out at Fox Sports Grill and something tells me we'll be back there really soon.

This picture is funny because I took the kids to Dairy Queen on Saturday. I got a blizzard for me and Becks and Kendal got an ice cream cone. After Becks and I devoured our blizzard he kept looking at the bottom and putting his spoon in there like he was thinking, where did it go? So of course he was eying Kendal's ice cream and surprisingly she shared...willingly.

I thought I needed some one-on-one time with Kendal so at the last minute I took her to get her nails done. She of course picked out sprinkles, hot pink and she also got a flower...she loved it and it was nice to have some Kendal time.

Kendal had a friend over for a playdate after school on Friday. Here is a picture of the girls painting.

Boys and Girls

Everyday I am amazed how boys and girls are programmed differently, the things that Beckett comes up with Kendal would never come up with (he likes to throw balls and climb everything while she runs on her toes and loves to do art projects). The other day Kendal said, "he's hitting me on the head" so I finally peaked around the corner and Beckett was throwing the beach ball at her to catch only she just sat there and let the ball hit her on the head...are you kidding me? It's so fun to watch them explore in completely different ways, we are so blessed.

Kendal had a princess party to go to this weekend and boy did she love it, she even wore her tierra to show and tell today (of course she didn't forget the princess wand too).

Here is the outfit she wore to school last Friday (I swear she comes up with these things on her own).

And here is her brother doing all manner of boy things, here he's walking around the house with the dog's water bowl on his head

And a Tonka helmet

Just being his sweet self (but when he knows he's not supposed to do something like throw food from the table he'll do it, look at me and shake his head back and forth no no no no....)

All boy

Is he all boy or what?!?!

Florida

We decided we were way overdue for a Florida trip so we planned a trip around Uncle Jeff's first football game of the season. The kids had a ball and enjoyed visiting Uncle Jeff and Aunt Lala, too bad they don't live closer!!!

The kids at the beach, it kept them busy for hours (another reason we need to live near a beach)

Go Golden Panthers!

Aunt LaLa arranged for Kendal to ride on her horse, Lola, so of course Kendal thought she was big stuff. Lola and Lara were so patient with Kendal, thank you!!!

The one picture I got with Jeff and Lara with the kids, typical choas

Horray for the beach

Aloha to me!

My amazing husband surprised me on another Babymoon to Hawaii! I had no idea where I was going until we checked into our flight and what a wonderful surprise it was. My amazing parents watched the kids for 5 days so we could enjoy our time (sleep in/have conversation at dinner/stay out late). Mostly we sat on the beach, drove around the island and relaxed...it was heaven!

My friend Martha moved to Honolulu two months ago so I called her and we got to meet up

Busted!!!

In the past two days this is what I've caught Beckett doing....standing on the step stool. Yesterday he was standing up, hand on counter eating almonds.
