Boys

At the last minute my parents were so gracious and took Kendal to Washington DC and Florida to see her cousins! It is so strange not having her here but she is loving every second of being with everyone. So, the boys and I have been having fun together.

This toy bucket provides lots of entertainment

Some "little" guy has been very bussssssssssy, he has definitely cranked it up a notch!

Swordfish

This time Kendal made a swordfish. First she cut out the swordfish (nose and all in one piece, not the tail though), glued it on to the paper and colored it. Then she says, "it's a swordfish, it's as intelligent as a shark."

Cam after putting the green marker in his mouth and eating his chocolate chip cookie...good thing we were headed to baths!

Balls

Brian and I were watching the TCU football game and all of a sudden we hear a grunt and then a ball comes flying over our heads, 3 seconds later, another grunt another ball....this when on and on for a bit and it didn't take us long to figure out we were in his line of fire. I grabbed the camera and Brian started retrieving balls, we have a lot of balls. We should've asked him to stop but it was so darn funny.

Run and jump

I hear counting and this is what I find Beckett doing

...the other side

This week

Kendal loves arts and crafts so when she and Beckett found the scissors and glue today to work she went. Here is a picture of her holding her airplane and her rocketship but what amazes me the most is she imagines what she is going to do and does the cutting and pasting herself.

Her rocketship before she glued it onto the pink paper

Cam loving his walker

I'm not entirely sure what is going on here but I turned the corner to find Beckett in the wagon

September 11, 2011

You can't think of this day and not think of what happened 1o years ago. Shock, sadness, terror, vulnerability...whatever thought you think of when you think of this day it is a day that will forever be remembered in my life. For the first time I saw true hate and and true patriotism. So, as I sang "God Bless America" in church today it really struck me, I am so thankful for all of the things in my life...my family, my friends, the ability to live in this country and my right to freedom. Thank you for those who served yesterday, who serve today and will serve tomorrow. God Bless America!!!

Videos

Even though Camden was tired he never let us down with his "Touchdown" (PS- it was pasta night so no judging the no shirts - it's awful I know) Obviously this video is super dark but if you look closely Cam is trying to keep up with the other two doing laps around the house.

Frogs in Phoenix

For some reason Phoenix does not attract a lot of Horned Frogs but a few loyal fans met up at a local sports bar for the Alumni game TCU vs. Air Force (a few others did show up but they missed the picture).

A few random pics

Ready to ride
Rattler Cake Pops for a friend's baby shower

Kids didn't care the pool is still slightly green...to them it's time to swim - for the record I did have a swim shirt and hat on Camden but they had both been recently removed
Over Labor Day Brian and I headed to a quick trip to Vegas. It was nice to feel somewhat young again and of course we couldn't have done without grandparents who bravely volunteered to keep the kids for the weekend!!!!!!!!!!
