Scale

Today I had to go to the Doctor's office for a check-up. After they called me back the dreaded scale is there just waiting to be approached...so, I put my purse down and Kendal says, "take off your shoes." Honestly I have no idea where she got that but it was hilarious!!!!!

Pics from the last few days

Notice the frog rain boots in the background.

Down, Set, Hike

Unfortunately what we didn't capture was the touchdown move and her announcement of touchdown but believe it or not it is better than what you see here (the papparazi were also there to capture the moment). Her Uncles will be so proud!

We're back!

Back in the US but not voluntarily. Here are a few pics from our recent trip but you'll have to look at the pics backwards as I added them the wrong way, oops - sorry.

After 15 hours of travel a very tired mommy and two-year-old stroll our way to our luggage.

Had to take a picture of daddy's doughnut, this was his second at the airport in Milan.

Hold the photos please.

We stopped at a random town in Italy. It happened to have a beautiful castle and a carnival with live bands and Halloween like costumes.

Ms. Thing (and her horsey).

This is Lucerne, Switzerland. Can't you just picture what is was like hundreds of years ago?!

A beautiful ski town in Garmish, Germany. I think we were the only non-skiers/snowboarders there.

Kendal riding the train to the castle in Salzburg, Austria.

At the castle in Salzburg, Austria where Kendal says "the pretty princess lives".

The view from the top of the castle in Salzburg.

Our hotel (and car) in Innsbruck, Austria.

We woke up to snow!!!!

The movie star takes a brief pause for pictures.

The streets of Innsbruck.

Snow piled up on the roofs in Sils, Switzerland. We didn't go skiing, ice skating, take a sled ride on a horse drawn carriage but we still had a wonderful time.

Our lunch stop on Lake Como.

One of the first truly important things Daddy taught Kendal... When you do knuckles you have to "Blow It Up!"

Zurich

Going to Zurich!!!

Just pics

Yesterday I turn around and Kendal has her head on the table next to the baby.
Baby on the zebra...she loves her babies.

Birthdays weekend

This weekend we had two birthday parties to go to. While Kendal still tells us about her poodle party and the cupcake she ate she was so excited to wish Happy Birthday to Dylan and Colin.
Here is the Birthday boy, Dylan, for his 3rd birthday at USA Gymnastics. Is this picture not hilarious?!?!
Apparently Kendal was over the photos by this point (Brody is smiling so perfectly too) but not over all her "get up".

Kendal at Colin's party. I stopped counting the cookies after 2 (surprisingly that's where I loose count for me too).

On the way to Colin's party.

Harley is being so sweet. My parents have Rusty while we go out of town for several days, Kendal keeps asking me..."where's Rusty?"

Twinkles trying to put Harley's collar on the zebra.

2 year check up

I asked Kendal to stand by the poodle dog so I could take her picture, this is her response.

Kendal had her 2 year check-up today and she did great for the Dr. She only cried when the RN measured her, she even told her what color the Dr's shirt was and high fived her at the end. But as we suspected Kendal is in the 24th percentile for weight and 65th for height, daddy was a little discouraged thinking this wasn't helping his plus size model push.

Happy Bday song

Here's our makeshift Happy Birthday celebration, this way you can feel like you were there.
PS-don't look at me, we just got back from the gym!

Funny comments

Who says being handy isn't in the genes?!

Yesterday Kendal tripped over my foot but caught herself she then turned to me and said, "that was a good save mommy." Are you kidding me?

Tonight while she was in the bath she looked at me and said, "how you doing?"

The Big Day

Apparently Kendal knew it was her birthday after getting up at 5:45 am (and giving mommy a glance of what it's going to be like getting rid of the night time binky - I will pay someone to trade houses with me for two weeks to go through that transition with her). We headed to MacDonald's for pancakes...daddy wins the gold star for taking Twinkles up the steps, through the tunnel just to get down the slide. Amazingly mommy is too big for the slide but daddy fits just fine, isn't that just too bad for me?

Kendal then helped me frost the 4 cupcakes that I didn't manage to burn but she sneakily bit right into 1 cupcake, leaving only 3 unburned or untouched cupcakes - not the best turnout.

Next we headed to the park for playgroup & Kendal's friends sang Happy Birthday to her.

Kendal got a present, a dolly, from one of her friends so she had to show her around the park...especially the slide.

Then we opened a few presents, thank you everyone!!!

Finally, it was time for cake. Daddy picked out the birthday cake while we were at the gym...is it not hilarious?

Poodle Party

Over the weekend we had Kendal's 2nd Birthday party, a poodle party. We had such a good time with our friends and Kendal got a lot of really great presents. Group shot

Nana and Granda visit

Nana and Granda came to visit Kendal for her 2nd Birthday. We were busy going to class, the zoo, getting party ready and just hanging out. Not sure why but I didn't capture a ton on pics, here are a few.
