Vegas Baby Vegas

After 13 years of talking we decided it was time for a couple's Vegas trip. Conveniently we dropped off the kids with my parents while the adults headed to Vegas for a much needed break. We met up with my two dearest friends from high school, Michele and Kelly and their husbands. We stayed at Michele and Sam's timeshare which was a two bedroom, 3 bed, kitchen apartment in the center of the strip, it couldn't have been more perfect. We saw the show, Zumanity (it was a little burlesque so the boys loved it), gambled, danced and just hung out. I have to say that two of my highlights was the VIP dancing treatment (including dancing 7 feet away from Chris Angel and Carrot Top - just funny how us girls could be so close to famous people - Kelly, have you Googled them yet, ha) and the three bears scenario we found ourselves in. After coming home from the club around 3:00 (I know have I ever done that, whew) we found some items (food/clothes, etc) that were not ours in our hotel room. After working it out with security we discovered the hotel gave a couple our hotel room key and unaware to them the couple got ready, left their stuff and went out for the night. I have to say it was one of the funniest situtations I've been a part of mostly because we were all so confused to who brought the food that we were all eating. Anyway, we got it all worked out. I am already looking forward to next year.

As with any new piece of technology I have no idea how to work my new Mac computer. I am trying to export a picture from my Shutterfly account to my Blog, therefore I cannot pull up my pictures from Vegas to share. Any suggestions?

I know I'm behind but I just got back from a weekend in Vegas and I haven't had time to think straight. I'll upload some pics tomorrow. For now, I have to hit the sheets.

Random Pics

Since I'm playing catch up I thought i would post a few random pics from the last couple of weeks (they are a little scattered so bare with me).

Beckett turned 8 months and it's hard to believe where the time has gone. He is crawling around like a madman and just wants to stand and walk all the time. He also has two bottom teeth, eats a ton, babbles more and is still the happiest baby ever (here he is in one of his favorite spots, under the table)!

Daddy and I took the kids to the Diamondbacks game. The kids did great and Kendal enjoyed getting her face painted.

Here he is...stuck on the steps. This picture was taken before he built up his confidence, now there is no fear.

Kendal was helping me use my new clean machine that Nana sent us (it was obviously needed as the day I got it I spelt coffee on the carpet). You will notice Kendal's concentration in this photo (never mind the hair) and Beckett kept following behind grabbing the cord and putting it in his mouth. Does this look like a good idea to you?

He did it!

Yep, our little man is crawling. Even though you can't tell in these photos (I'll look through my videos) he is rockin' and rollin' all over the place. It's so fun to see because you forget how they have to learn to do everything. One of Beckett's legs is stronger so he goes crocked a lot but he always manages to get where he wants. In fact, he's in to everything and wants to not crawl but stand, jump or walk all the time!!! Trouble.

Another Beck fact, he has two teeth poking through...he's getting (I use that term loosely) so big!

Pro?!

After seeing Kendal on the golf course Daddy got all fired up and decided to take K out for a lesson. She did good but did get distracted by the bunnies and hills, but hey she's 3!

Easter Weekend

It's that time, cheesy holiday pictures. I swear I should start taking the kids each year to this and make this their once a year photo so I can keep track of their growth (since we all know their 3-year and 6 month photos didn't go well).

Easter - Unfortunately I posted these pics backwards (it has been too long) but you get the idea. Sunday we met with some out of town friends up at their resort. The kids played while the adults ate/drank. We looked over several minutes later and Kendal was raking the sand trap. Nice work honey, you must get practice when you go play with daddy;)

After breakfast at the clubhouse we had an Easter Egg hunt and amazingly Kendal got some eggs for herself and some for Beckett.

This picture was actually from the day before, it was taken at the hotel pool. Beckett was enjoying some time at the water spouts unlike his sister he doesn't mind water on his face.

Too long

You know it's bad when the automatic sign in doesn't recognize your name, ouch. While I'm sure you've all been desperately waiting the return of our kids documentation (grandparents) I decided to just post a few pictures that I thought were well, typical.
