A little behind (and I'm not talking about me)

Kendal and I met some friends at the splash pad today. We had a great time but she was not sure about those big kids splashing the water everywhere.

Grammie and Grandpa headed up to Phoenix for Grammie's Birthday. Kendal had a fun time seeing them and she even picked out the cake herself. Happy Birthday Grammie!!!

Over the weekend Daddy put together Kendal's tricycle, it was great when she was going downhill but a little harder on the flat road (but she did the best she could not being able to fully reach the peddles).

This picture is hilarious because she thinks it's funny when I roll my eyes around, here she is mimicking me.

...the computer mouse has been out so I've not been able to really get online until I got a new one (which didn't happen until yesterday). I've been so lost but stay tuned for updates!

Flagstaff

Over the weekend we headed for a quick getaway to Flagstaff. What's in Flagstaff besides beards and Birkenstocks? Not much, but we jumped at any excuse to take a trip (and Brian had to work a conference).

Kendal and I stumbled across the Armed Forces parade in downtown Flagstaff. Just as I suspected she totally loved seeing all the flags, the uniforms and marching and live music. But I have to say the funniest part of the parade was when a girl I haven't seen since Jr. High went by on the back of a convertible, she is the Mayor!

Later that afternoon Twinks and I had lunch outside and watched the trains blow their horns and go through town...what a day!

This week

I've been really bad with posting pictures so here are a couple from this week.

I can hardly keep Kendal out of the pool these days!

Mother's Day. Before Daddy and Grandpa's golf game Daddy brought Kendal's putter and shower her a few tips.

A trip to Tucson always includes the Merry-Go-Round but you can't get off until you switch horses a couple of times.

Can't you just see her going to Kindergarten? Awe, I'm definitely not ready for that yet but I'm sure she is.

Pig Noise

All right here it is...the pig noise...see how happy she is?!

Kendal rediscovered her pig (okay I admit it, I hide toys from her so I can bust them out when I need something different) so all day I had to listen to oink, oink...even in the car.

Remember the pool Kendal was so fascinated with yesterday, apparently she didn't forget it overnight because after our breakfast this morning at 6:00 we had to go outside and put our feet in (I have no idea how I stopped her from getting all the way in).

Pool Day

Kendal and I went to the pool today, it was a little chilly but it didn't seem to bother her. Tonight she even wanted to sit in the pool, naked. After getting in she said, "mommy take your clothes off and sit with me."

A weekend tradition...doughnuts.

Despite getting sick this weekend Kendal rallied like the best of them!
