Starting fresh

In lue of everything else I decided it was time to start fresh, so here's the new template. Regardless of the similarities, it's a nice change.

This morning Kendal and I headed to Starbucks so on our way to Cooper's (Rob & Meloras) house I decided to teach Kendal the word Starbucks, afterall this won't be her last trip there. So, stay tuned for the video, it's hilarious.

Daddy's coming home today, YEA!!!

Today

Grandpa took the girls out to dinner tonight, we had a great time but I think the biggest hit was her shoes (besides playing with grandpa).

The good, the bad, the truth

The bad news - The pacifier is haunting me...ugh, I hate that thing (which is probably why she loves it)!!! The phone doesn't work and I cannot change the channel on the TV downstairs.

The good news - I got Kendal to eat 5 bites of my grilled chicken and for anyone that knows Kendal that's almost a miracle.

Conclusion - I know I had a good time in Florida but do I really have to go through these scream outs for having such a good time? I guess that's life with an up and coming 2-year-old!

Florida

Our internet is back up and running, FINALLY! I'm not sure what I ever did without it or a cell phone (or my vacuum) but thank goodness I don't have to go through that again.

Last weekend the clan headed to Florida to see Uncle Jeff, Aunt Lala, Deedah, Aunt Nan and RJ, we had the best time. We got to hang out with Deedah, A. Nan and RJ and we got to go to Uncle Jeff's first home football game. Grammie made the best cheer uniform for our future cheerleader who thoroughly enjoyed the "football game". She enjoyed the game much in fact she keeps saying, "football game"...is she a Popovich or what? We also had the pleasure of watching Lala ride her horses, she is such a beautiful rider. Kendal loved the horses but was too afraid to get on (I think we better practice on Harley), she also keeps saying, "horses jumping" becuase Lala would jump the horse as Kendal watched in awe. I think Kendal will love going to see Aunt Lala, Uncle Jeff and the ocean, she's already ready to go back!

Flute

Kendal recently discovered this flute in one of her toy bins. She thinks it's pretty entertaining and as you can tell she tried to get her baby to play it too. Tonight for bed she took "two babies" to bed with her, as if one wasn't enough.

For some reason when she plays this it always makes both of us laugh (who says she has no musical talent). She even says, "watch this."

K E N D A L

Here is a video that Brian took while visiting Montezuma's Castle over the weekend.

In an attempt to video Kendal today I actually did manage to catch her spelling her name (and isn't Rusty being sweet).

Labor Day Weekend

Sedona & Montezuma's Castle

Happy 31st Brian

It's hard to believe that August is already gone and Labor Day has just passed. We celebrated Brian's 31st Birthday the day after he returned from Vegas for work and over the weekend we went to Dave and Shannon's to watch TCU beat New Mexico in the season opener. Yesterday we headed to Montezuma's Castle for the day but ended up meeting my parents and spending the night in Sedona. It was so beautiful and Brian's first trip there so we definitely enjoyed the scenery and cooler weather. This weekend we are headed to Texas to hang out with Brian's family and watch TCU in the home opener, The Bonjours will be so excited we taught Kendal to say, "Go Frogs".
