After Kendal got up from her nap I was explaining to her that we were going to get our shoes on and go to the gym, she responded, "that sounds like fun."

As I was planting flowers I left for a second, when I returned this is what I found in the pot.

Daddy left on Saturday morning to attend his yearly National Sales Meeting, this year it's in Orlando. Kendal and I have been busy with friends, going to the car wash and even hitting the Merry-go-round (which was a great idea until it was time to leave).

A new girl in town

Reagan Belle Davis was born this morning at 6:31AM, 7lbs & 13oz, 18 3/4 long. Reagan and Michele are doing great (Michele doesn't even look like she had a baby today) and Reagan even had her eyes open for part of the time...she is so PERFECT!!!

Gymnastics

I took Kendal to open gymnastics today. When I told her we were going this morning she said, "go hang on the bars."

Kendal found the headband and put it on. I think she's starting a new fashion statement, I'm surprised I haven't seen Nicole Richie do this.

Tonight while I was getting Kendal loaded in the car she said to me, "get in your seat pumpkin." I almost lost it. And recently when it's time to get her out of the car she's been telling me, "push this read button mommy" (to release her from her seat).

Today was a big day for mommy, I could finally grab enough of Kendal's hair for pigtails (even though she managed to take them out at lunch:)

What a day

After getting home at 5:00PM Kendal saw her cupcake pj bottoms and wanted to put them on (over her tights and skirt)...after she put them on she wanted to put on her frog boots;)

As I was looking for something for Kendal to wear today she saw the cupcake shirt and said, "Kendal wear cupcake" there was no turning back at that point. Oh, but I really took this picture because she's kept walking around in my shoes.

Go Cardinals!

Grandparents are the best. For many reasons but just to name one....they (without hesitation) took Kendal for a couple of days so we could go to an all day Cardinals game (we even got to see a movie - bonus), thanks Grammie and Grandpa!!!

Happy New Year

Well another year has passed and I have yet to make a resolution (which is actually good because now I don't have one to break). We headed up to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon for a little snowy get away. Even though Kendal looks less than enthused in these photos she really did have a great time.
